As the Province continues to reduce the debt, hundreds of millions of dollars that are now being used to pay interest on that debt will become available to help eliminate the most out-dated and regressive tax on the books... education property tax.

Using interest savings to reduce the education portion of property tax would benefit every property owner and stimulate economic growth without impacting funding to Saskatchewan schools.

When your tax summary comes up, scroll down and see what the 'education' amount is. If the Government of Saskatchewan adopts our recommendation it would put us within striking distance of the complete elimination of education property tax.
